I have to Believe
By Rita Springer

"I have to believe, he sees my darkness
I have to believe, he knows my pain
I have to lift up, my hands to Worship
Worship his name
I have to declare, that he is my refuge
I have to deny, that i am alone
I have to lift up, my eyes to the mountains, thats where my help, it comes from
oh yeahhh
He said that he's forever faithful
He said that he's forever true
He said that he can move mountains
If he can move mountains
He can move my mountain, he can move your mountain too
I have to stand tall, when the wind blows me over
I have to stand strong, when i'm weak and afraid
I have to grab hold, a hold of the garments, the garments of praise
oh i know
He said that he's forever faithful (oh i know it)
He said that he's forever true
He said that he can move mountains
If he can move mountains
He can move my mountain, he can move your mountain too
I have to sing praise, when the hour is midnight
He unlocks these chains, that bind up my soul
my sin and my shame he has forgiven, and made me whole
oh yeahhhh
He said that he's forever faithful (yeahhhh)
He said that he's forever true
He said that he can move mountains x's 3
If he can move mountains
He can move my mountain, he can move your mountain too (yeahhh)
i have to believe x's 2
He's got everything under control
I have to believe
mmmm yeah
Lord I believe, help my unbelief
I have to believe in you
I have to believe"

Etaala International Fundraiser

I am going with Etaala International on a mission trip, to Uganda, at the end of May. We have decided to spend these last two months fundraising for the baby home we will be serving at for a portion of our time there. We found a great fundraising program where you can buy coffee, and be supporting orphans at the same time.

Just Love Coffee Store sells coffee, and other accessories, in order to help orphans, families wishing to adopt, and mission teams by providing them with fundraising opportunities. They have many different coffees to choose from and they are all 100% Fair Trade.

We set our fundraising goal at $500, which means if 100 people step up and buy just one pack of coffee, we will be able to present the $500 dollars to Loving Hearts Baby Home when we get there! But whatever the total amount for this fundraiser brings, it will all be going to enable Loving Hearts Baby Home to continue to provide all the necessary care for these precious babies. Please consider picking out one of the many wonderful choices of coffees’ and supporting some of the many orphans in the world today.

Visit Etaala International’s Fundraising Store to purchase your coffee through us: http://www.justlovecoffee.com/etaalainternational

Visit the Just Love Coffee homepage (

Lyric Friday

I Saw What I Saw
By Sara Groves

I saw what I saw and I can't forget it
I heard what I heard and I can't go back
I know what I know and I can't deny it

Something on the road
Cut me to the soul

Your pain has changed me
Your dream inspires
Your face a memory
Your hope a fire
Your courage asks me what I'm afraid of
And what I know of love

We've done what we've done and we can't erase it
We are what we are and it's more than enough
We have what we have but it's no substitution

Your pain has changed me
Your dream inspires
Your face a memory
Your hope a fire
Your courage asks me what I'm made of
And what I know of love

Something on the road
Cut me to the soul

I say what I say with no hesitation
I have what I have and I'm giving it up
I do what I do with deep conviction

Something on the road, cut me to the soul

Your pain has changed me
Ooohhh...
Your dreams inspire
Ooohhh...
Your face a memory
Ooohhh...
Your hope a fire
Ooohhh...

Your pain has changed me
Your dream inspires
Your face a memory
Your hope a fire
Your courage asks me what I am afraid of
Your courage asks me what I am made of
Your courage asks me what I am afraid of
And what I know of God,
And what I know of God.

This song, I know, will have a
lot more meaning after I see
what I see, and hear what I hear
in Africa. And there is no boubt
"their pain will change me",
"their dream will inspire" and
their "courage will ask me what
I'm afraid of".

Let The Waters Rise
By Mikeschair

Don't know where to begin
Its like my world's caving in
And I try but I can't control my fear
Where do I go from here?

sometimes its so hard to pray
When You feel so far away
But I am willing to go
Where you want me to
God, I trust You

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

I will swim in the deep
'Cuz You'll be next to me
You're in the eye of the storm
And the calm of the sea
You'll never out of reach

God, You know where I've been
You were there with me then
You were faithful before
You'll be faithful again
I'm holding Your hand

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

God Your love is enough
You will pull me through
I'm holding onto You
God Your love is enough
I will follow You
I will follow You

Ohhh

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

Ohhh

Quote

I am reading an amazing book now called "Dangerous Surrender" by Kay Warren. Take a look at this quote:

"We are the most like Christ when we choose to offer the gift of our presence and choose to absorb within ourselves the suffering of the least, the last, and the lost. Are you looking for Jesus? That's where you will find Him."

WOW!

June 2009 at OneTrueMedia.com

Here is a slideshow I put together of pictures that a team from Visiting Orphans took this past summer when they visited Shephard's Field. These pictures were taken by many of the team members, and thanks to Allison I now have a copy of them too!

Lyric Friday

To The Least Of These
By Matt Papa

I will worship You by giving to the poor
By bringing hope to hopeless places
I will love You by feeding those in need
By touching their disease and
Their souls with Your love
You said what you do to the least of these
You do it unto me
You know what you do to the least of these
You do it unto me

I WILL LOVE YOU LORD WITH ALL MY HEART
MY SOUL, MY MIND, AND MY STRENGTH
AND SO I'LL LOVE THE ONES YOU LOVE
NOW I'M TAKING UP MY CROSS FOR YOU
OBEYING YOUR COMMANDS
I WANT MY WORSHIP TO BE TRUE
'CAUSE WHEN I'M LOVING THEM
I'M LOVING YOU

I will honor You by honoring the least
By giving worth to things
Deemed worthless
I will serve You by sheltering the strange
By clothing them with grace that
Cannot give in return
How can I say I love You
When I do not love the things that You love?
When my heart is hard but
Yours is broken for this broken world
So Jesus I will be Your hands and feet
Don't just want to sing anymore
I will care for You when I'm caring for the weak
When I'm going and I'm speaking
Of Your love and faithfulness
I will follow You by going where You've been
By declaring to all men that
You're the Truth, the Life, the Way
On Judgment Day what will He say
Of the deeds that you have done?
