Proverbs 24:12

"Once our eyes are opened we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls knows that we know and holds us responsible to act".

WE CAN'T KEEP GIVING EXCUSES, WE HAVE TO ACT!!!!

Isaiah 1:17

"Learn to do right!
Seek justice,
encourage the oppressed.
Defend the cause of the fatherless,
plead the case of the widow."

This means everyone!

Update on Tristan

For those of you who don't know Tristan is my sponsor child. I sponsor him through the Philip Hayden Foundation (chinaorphans.com). From what I hear he is a very outgoing little boy!

Some of his favorite things are toy cars, swinging, and riding the scooter.

The children did some artwork for their sponsors and it is the sweetest thing to see!

Tristan's Surgery

Tristan is fortunate enough to be in the care of an organization that is able to provide for his medical needs. He has already had two surgeries since arriving at Shepherd's Field Children's Village. He now needs another surgery to repair his cleft palate. I just found out that he will be getting this surgery done in November. There is a special volunteer surgical team coming and he is going to be a part of that. The hospital charges 5oo US dollars for his surgery. If anyone is willing to help contribute it would be greatly appreciated. I have added a "Donate" button on my sidebar, just click on that and it will take you to paypal. Donations will be accepted through November 1st. Thank You!

Will You Help?

The Philip Hayden Foundation (www.chinaorphans.org) is looking to furnish a new preschool room, an occupational therapy room, and a speech therapy room. Healing Hannah (http://www.healinghannah.com/) is collecting supplies and will be traveling to Shepherd's Field Children's Village on October 29th. There is not a specific list of supplies yet, but I will let you know when it is available. But they could always use more baby formula, wipes, and basic medicines. You may also send money if you want to. To donate please contact Dawn Choate by email: dawn@healinghannah.com. She will give you further information on how to do so.

Matthew 10: 8 "...Freely you have received, freely give."

Another Song With A Great Message

The Last, The Lost, The Least
By Relient K

Live a life of privilege
Pushing back the last, the lost
The least of these
To dull the edge of concscience
With conceit
Live a life and see the world
Feel its weight on the shoulders
Of the least of these
It spins and twirls
Without rest or relief

We all, we all wear dignity
It covers the strong, the weak
We all, we all wear dignity
Even the last, the lost, the least

Step into a spacious place
Where pride and right will give way
To the least of these
To know the face
Of who a man can be

We all, we all wear dignity
It covers the strong, the weak
We all, we all wear dignity
Even the last, the lost, the least

His image shown
We give our lives, our time, our own
To feed, to clothe
Those in His image we have left alone

We all, we all wear dignity
It covers the strong, the weak
We all, we all wear dignity
Even the last, the lost, the least

We all, we all wear dignity
God help the blind like me
Finding at last a voice we cry
And see with clear unblinking eyes
