Mission Photo Monday

I want to thank everyone who offered support, encouragement, or prayers for my mission trip to Uganda. It was an amazing experience and I am so thankful I was able to go, but I couldn't have done it without you! Thank You!

Lyric Friday

By: Brook Fraser

I am sitting still
I think of Angelique
her mothers voice over me
And the bullets in the wall where it fell silent
And on a thousandth hill, I think of Albertine
there in her eyes what I don't see with my own

now that I have seen, I am responsible
Faith without deeds is dead
now that I have held you in my own arms, I cannot let go till you are

I am on a plane across a distant sea
But I carry you in me

and the dust on, the dust on, the dust on my feet

I will tell the world, I will tell them where I've been
I will keep my word

I will tell them Albertine

I am on a stage, a thousand eyes on me
I will tell them, Albertine
I will tell them, Albertine

Lyric Friday

I Saw What I Saw
By: Sara Groves

I saw what I saw and I can't forget it
I heard what I heard and I can't go back
I know what I know and I can't deny it

Something on the road, cut me to the soul

Your pain has changed me
your dream inspires
your face a memory
your hope a fire
your courage asks me what I'm afraid of
(what I am made of)
and what I know of love

we've done what we've done and we can't erase it
we are what we are and it's more than enough
we have what we have but it's no substitution

Something on the road, touched my very soul

I say what I say with no hesitation
I have what I have and I'm giving it up
I do what I do with deep conviction

Something on the road, changed my world

We landed in Atlanta late Thursday night. We all said goodbye and each headed home. I think I am finally caught up on my sleep, but I really miss Uganda!!! I am having trouble with a lot of my pictures, they may not be retrievable! I will have to see what I can do, and if I can’t get them back I will have to use pictures from some of the other team members. I have some video and I hope to put together a movie soon, then I can post it here. I am still trying to process all that I saw in Uganda, but I do hope to post stories and pictures very soon.
