I just found out that my sponsor child Tristan was taken to the hospital Monday and is going to receive his cleft lip surgery sometime this week. I can't wait to see what it looks like. I will have more information soon.
No, he had to go for his first immediately when he arrived at the children's home for his imperforate anus. He was only 2 months old! And he has to go back after this one for his cleft palate, they said about 4 weeks after.
I know, and yes it is very good that he is getting proper health care. No, he hasn't been placed with a family, and I don't know exactly how that whole process is, but I wouldn't expect it until he gets most of he special needs taken care of, but that is just my guess.
