This boy, named Alex, lives in Eastern Europe and will soon turn 5 years old. In his case turning one year older is actually devastating, instead of being a happy occasion. You see, Alex is a special needs orphan (He has CP).
When these children turn 5 they are placed in an institution and bedridden
for the. rest. of. their. lives!! :(
Imagine yourself in that situation. Wow!
I am so heartbroken!
The only hope for Alex (and the many other children like him) is a family.
So what this giveaway is doing is advocating and raising funds for Alex's adoption fund.
This way a family who is interested in him will be given these funds to go towards their adoption of Alex!
How great! Adoption can be expensive, but this will hopefully help the family to make that leap of faith anyway. Because Alex is worth it.
